Fulton city commissioners have a short but busy agenda for their regular meeting Monday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m., according to the agenda released by City Clerk Laura Byrd.
Much of the business ties back to the city’s PHMSA grant for natural gas work.
Commissioners will consider Municipal Order 2027-74, which would amend Municipal Order 2027-70 to correct a clerical error in the contract term for a cloud-based gas utility operations management platform. That contract was awarded to Concourse Tech Inc. under the PHMSA grant.
They’ll also consider Municipal Order 2027-75, which would authorize buying ancillary gas distribution materials from Consolidated Pipe & Supply Company for the natural gas distribution system replacement project, also under the grant.
An update on the gas grant construction zone is on the agenda as well.
Other discussion items include:
- The LARP paving schedule
- Tourism mowing the city parks
- The KenTenn EMS Board
The meeting opens with the invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call, followed by remarks and requests from visitors and the city attorney’s report. Under other business, commissioners will hear from the police, fire and public works departments and code enforcement, as well as the city manager, commissioners, city attorney and mayor.
Residents who want to speak can do so during the remarks and requests from visitors portion near the start of the meeting.
